"Resist!" illuminates 500 years of anti-colonial resistance in the Global South, examining colonial violence and oppression and its ongoing repercussions, and paying homage to the people who resisted it and whose stories are little known.
The works of more than 40 contemporary artists from the Global South and the diaspora tell stories of rebellion and war, violence and trauma, and survival and resilience. The book includes historical documents and objects from the RJM collection, Cologne.
